The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL)

OTL provides support, resources, trainings, consultations and programming to support excellence in teaching and learning.

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI)

ODEI provides leadership, guidance, resources and trainings to sustain a rich campus climate and culture.

Campus Life and Inclusive Excellence (CLIE)

CLIE provides support, resources and trainings to ensure that all members of the DU community are valued and thrive by embracing and engaging social identities.

The Interdisciplinary Research Institute for the Study of (in)Equality (IRISE)

IRISE facilitates cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, scholarship and creative works promoting equality and equity in historically underrepresented communities on issues of inequality, social justice and inclusivity.

Health and Counseling Center (HCC)

The HCC provides exceptional, inclusive, and integrated health care. They also promote student success and wellness through education, advocacy and outreach to the University of Denver community.

The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP)

LEP provides individualized support for neuro diverse learners with Specific Learning Disabilities, ADHA, students on the Autism Spectrum, and/or students with learning differences.

Religious and Spiritual Life

Religious and Spiritual Life engages and supports students, faculty and staff in areas of interfaith dialogue and spirituality.

The Office of Internationalization (INTZ)

INTZ provides support for building competencies, critical thinking and intercultural understanding.

The Disability Services Program (DSP)

DSP is dedicated to giving students with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in the University's programs, courses and activities.

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX can assist with consultation concerning issues of possible discrimination, harassment or retaliation, education designed for your department or organization.

National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity

The Office of Teaching and Learning, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI), the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, University Academic Programs and the Office of the Provost have partnered to obtain an institutional membership with the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD). Our institutional membership is funded by a two-year pilot grant from our strategic plan, DU IMPACT 2025. The NCFDD is an independent faculty-development center dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers.

NCFDD offerings

With its institutional membership, DU can offer all our faculty, postdocs and graduate students access to the following resources at no additional cost:

  • Weekly Monday motivator
  • Monthly core curriculum webinars
  • Monthly guest expert webinars
  • Multi-week courses
  • Dissertation success curriculum for graduate students
  • Private discussion forum for peer mentoring, problem solving and moderated writing challenges
  • Monthly accountability buddy matches
  • 14-day writing challenges
  • The member library, which includes past webinar materials, referrals and reading

  2. Choose your institution from the drop-down menu
  3. Select “Activate My Membership”
  4. Complete the registration form using your institutional email address (i.e. @du.edu). Please note you are required to enter a discipline and not all disciplines are included so just choose a discipline closest to yours. This does not impact what you get as part of your membership.
  5. Go to your institution email to find a confirmation email.
  6. Click “Activate Account” in the confirmation email.
